OPEN Customer Service / Product Advisor

Located in Richmond Hill, Ontario; The Window and Door Specialist have been providing top quality windows and doors in the GTA for over 35 years.

As a member of our team you will exemplify those values while providing top notch product knowledge and customer service to customers in the showroom in addition to in home advice throughout the GTA. The incumbent will be customer focused, have drive, enthusiasm, exceptional presentation, and organizational skills as well as the ability to work on your own while remaining part of a successful team.

Competencies / Skills and Experience.

  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Ability to work individually and as a team with minimum supervision
  • Experience with reading construction blueprints an asset
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office, and other routine software)
  • Professional and Courteous telephone manner.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective problem solver with a results oriented approach.
  • Self-starters who complete both assigned and unassigned tasks whether supervised or unsupervised.

Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience demonstrating products and services
  • Willingness to learn and a passion for the window and door industry
  • Valid driver’s license and full time access to a reliable vehicle
  • Second language is an asset
  • Experience in the window and door industry is an asset.
  • Experience in social media applications is an asset.

OPEN Window and door Installer

Located in Richmond Hill, Ontario; The Window and Door Specialist have been providing top quality windows and doors in the GTA for over 35 years.

The Window & Door Specialist’s core values are “Honesty, Integrity, and Trust”. As a member of our team you will exemplify those values in the Project Coordinator role. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating measurements, installations and service in addition to answering customer inquiries.

The incumbent will be customer focused, with exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to work on your own while remaining part of a successful team.

Competencies / Skills and Experience.

  • Experience in the window and door industry an asset.
  • Good communication skills; verbal and written
  • Ability to work individually and as a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Proficiency with specialized tools and equipment

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years window and door installation experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and full time access to a reliable vehicle
  • Owned a reliable working truck for delivering and installing
  • Detail oriented.
  • Reliable and Trustworthy
  • Respectful and honest
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Installed product and companion products
  • Completed paperwork required
  • Maintained safe working environment by obeying safety rules
  • Participated in overall system level testing efforts
  • Diagnosed and resolved complex installation issues
  • Loaded and unloaded materials from truck onto work site
  • Installed parts in specified relationship to each other
  • Maintained and organized stock flow of materials to meet supply demands
  • Communicated effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Provided excellent customer service in timely manner
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and dependability daily
  • Maintained accurate inventory of materials, equipment and supplies
  • Cleaned and organized job site and equipment
